Before You Order
- How do you send traffic to my website?
Answer: Our network has developed many ways of delivering traffic. Our most effective way is through the use of expired domains. Everyday our network purchases abandoned domain names that have traffic on them. These domain names had a previous website on them that fits into our targeted categories. Basically, all we do is redirect that traffic coming from these websites to your website.
When you make a purchase, one of our IT specialists will visit your website and, whether you specified a target or not, we will target it further so that we send you the very best visitors. It is in our best interest to do so, if you generate sales or contacts chances are you'll be back for another purchase. These abandoned domains have traffic on them, and the previous owners either listed them on search engines, on lists and marketed them so you now reap their hard work by having us direct this traffic to your website.
This type of redirection is better than a popups (web surfers don't like popups, it interrupts their online browsing) or popunders.
- Is my traffic targeted?
Answer: Yes!
We divided our expired domains into about 200 categories you can choose from. Thanks to this accurate targeting process, we guarantee that we will send to your website only visitors interested in your product. We don't deliver just "hits". We deliver potential customers.
- Where does your traffic come from? Tell me more about your sources
Answer: We are very proud of the traffic we offer. We do not have "secret sources" or "secret methods" for generating traffic. Our traffic is derived from hard work. Period. You deserve to know the source of the traffic so that you can make an informed business decision when purchasing it. Our traffic comes from expired domain names.
When someone creates a website, they generally register a domain name to go along with it. The owner must pay a nominal fee every year to keep their domain name. If the owner does not pay the annual fee, the domain registrar will put the name on hold. With most registrars, an "on hold" domain stops working. Most registrars allow an additional grace period of 30-90 days for the domain owner to pay the annual fee. During this period, the registrar will generally contact the domain owner many times with attempts to get them to pay the fee and reactivate the domain name. If the domain owner fails to pay on time, and fails to respond during the 30-90 day hold period, the registrar will drop the domain name. At this point, anyone can register the name. We assume that the previous owner no longer wants a dropped name and we will register the name if we feel that it will generate traffic. After we own the name, we direct it to our server and send out the traffic to the campaigns we serve. This traffic is the very best clean traffic.
As well just as important as traffic quality is targeting. There are basically two things you need to consider when you think about traffic targeting. One is where the traffic comes from and the other is how the visitors are "chosen" to see your site. You may not know this, but many companies will try to fool you into thinking visitors are coming to your site by putting your site in a mini frame with a hundred others, using a script to generate hit after hit, etc. Try asking the competition where the visitors come from, we bet they won't tell you. If you purchase targeted visitors, they could come from Altavista, Lycos Network, Mamma.com, Netflip, and many other independent sites.
Well how on earth are we getting TARGETED visitors to you? The idea is simple. Sites like AltaVista have extremely targeted categories that get a lot of visitors. For example, someone may go to AltaVista and look for forums, articles, or information about running a home based business. BINGO! Altavista's computers immediately look through their database of running campaigns and look for the campaigns targeted to business. They choose which of those sites need the visitor the most and they are immediately swept away to see your site. Pretty neat eh? Well it is neat if you know what kind of traffic you're buying. What was just described is the traffic we sell. We have investigated and sampled virtually EVERY other traffic sources' services (of course we want to check out our competition) and have found NOBODY is selling traffic of this quality. Most of the targeted visitors are not even targeted. Ask them how they target their visitors, they probably won't even respond to your email.
- Why are your prices MUCH LESS than most other traffic brokers? Is the quality not as good?
Answer: Volume! Not only are our prices less, but our quality superior as well. Our network deals with so much traffic, we are able to keep our prices very low and save you money. We receive many customer inquiries before purchases are made voicing their concern as to why our prices are so low! There are many other resellers out there with prices sometimes 10X our amount. We dare anyone to test our service, price and traffic quality!
- Do you offer stats so that I can keep track of how many visits I am getting?
Answer: Yes! - all campaigns come with FREE LIVE STATS so you can keep track of our progress during your campaign! Before your campaign starts, you will receive an email with a username to login. Please save this email for reference and future use or print it out.
- How long will it take to receive all the visitors that I have purchased?
Answer: We guarantee that we will deliver ALL the visitors your purchased within 30 days. In some cases, we could take a bit more to complete the campaign. Many traffic companies can simply add popups or use other tricks (such as loading several sites on one page) to increase supply. Thus, those companies are rarely faced with supply shortages. Indeed, one should be circumspect when a company never seems to have supply problems. We do not have that option because our supply is limited by the number of real visitors we are able to locate. Because we insist on only delivering quality traffic, we cannot simply "add a pop".
- Do you guarantee that I will generate more sales? What kind of conversions can I expect from a campaign?
Answer: No. We do not guarantee anyone that they will generate more sales. However, we do guarantee delivery of the full amount of web traffic service that you have purchased or we will refund you prorated. In such rare case that we cannot complete the full delivery of service within specified time, we can either refund you or continue your service delivery until the web traffic service is complete. You have the choice to make that decision.
Please note that sales on a website will depend on many factors including the website product, content, load time, layout, product pricing, presentation, service and more factors. We will provide the service of sending visitors to your website, your job is to generate these visitors into customers and we'll do our best to achieve that.
- Do you use programs to generate "fake" traffic to my site?
Answer: Absolutely not! Traffic Champ values its reputation and considers this practice to be unethical. The visitors we send to your site are real people who want to see real sites. The bonus is that your visitors are sent to you because they've already demonstrated an interest in the same subject matter as your site. Not only does this improve your lead generation response rates, it will likely increase sales immediately. To make it even more attractive, our services are priced to make this type of lead generation affordable.
- Do you spam or am I in danger of being accused of using spam methods?
Answer: No. We do not promote your website via email advertising SPAM, we redirect visitors directly to your website as we have described above. You have no way of being accused of using spam methods with our service.
- I would like to know what is the uniqueness of the visitors. One visit per/?
Answer: All visitors sent to your website are full campaign unique. That means you will not receive the same visitor twice for the entire duration of your ad campaign.
- Can I see a sample domain, how it all works?
Answer: No. We sell 'redirected visitors' therefore the domains we own simply redirect people to our customers and all our resellers customers websites. If we were to send you a redirect domain you would be redirected to all our customers (and resellers customers) websites for that particular target campaign. We would not want any competing company to obtain our client lists in danger of spamming them or trying to obtain competitive sales. We keep all our customers purchases confidential and we do not want anyone to obtain any of our domains or customer lists to contact them with spam or to see who their competitors are. Therefore, we cannot show you a redirecting domain because you will be redirected to our customers websites and that is strictly confidential information.
- Do you have any restrictions on the content of my site? Do you allow popup / popunder / sound on my site?
Answer: Your site must be legal in the United States. We can only send traffic to websites with content that is appropriate for a general audience. Please, no sites with illegal content, hate text or sites that promote illegal activities. We don't allow the presence of popup / popunder / sound on the URL that you advertise. If you have any, please remove it BEFORE you start your campaign.
After You Order
- My campaign has been suspended, can it be restarted?
Answer: Yes. Most campaigns are suspended due to either having a popup on the 'landing page' when the campaign was purchased as a no-popup campaign or having some other technical issues. In most cases, simply removing the popup(s) or creating an identical page with no popup option or removal of the offending script will allow us to reactivate and resume your campaign as soon as possible. If your campaign has been suspended, login and see what the reason was for its suspension and make the necessary change, then contact us via the contact form for reactivation. If you cannot remove it, please email us with a different URL to promote. We will then immediately change it and reactivate your campaign. Please don't forget to include the username and password of your suspended campaign.
- What if my hit counter does not show all the traffic I ordered was received?
Answer: You will need to check your RAW SERVER LOGS; you will find out that ALL visitors have been delivered. In any dispute between Buyer and Seller regarding the amount of visitors recorded at a website, it is our policy to compare the raw logs generated by the hosting company of the destination URL to our own stats. It has been our experience that hit counters have known weak spots over which we as a company can exercise little control:
· The counter has tracked the hits incorrectly. (Counters, and particularly the Free ones, often experience downtime during peak periods)
· Some statistic services count a visitor after 20 seconds. Our stats system tracks a visitor after 8 seconds.
· The counter is inserted at the end of the destination page.
(Visitors close the page or click on a link displayed on the page before the page,
and therefore the counter, finish loading)
· The server of the destination URL experiences downtime
(The result is that your page will never load as a popunder during that down period and the counter, regardless of where it's placed will not receive a hit)
Here's what we suggest you do to minimize these situations:
· Have more than one counter
· Have your own tracking script
· Check your site's http/apache raw logs 3 days after your campaign ends.
· Place the counter (or insert your tracking script) at the top of the destination page.
- I ordered a 10,000 visitors campaign 5 days ago and I received only 400 visitors as of today. Is that normal?
Answer: it is normal for your campaign to begin slowly and accelerate over time. Also, our system automatically throttles traffic to maximize your results so there may be periods during which your traffic stops. In any case, we will deliver all the visitors within 30 days.
- My campaign will end in 6 days, but there are several hundreds of visitors not delivered yet. What's up?
Answer: This is a very UNCOMMON case that may happen when the selected category is short of visitors. If this is your case, please understand that we are working very hard to increase traffic flow rates and expect the situation to improve markedly over the next 3 days.
In this rare case, the campaign may not meet the 30 days timeline, but we will continue to deliver visitors till it completes (should happen within no more than 7 days)
- Why so many of the 'referer' URLs given by visitors to my site the same
Answer: It is necessary to redirect visitors through our servers. As such, the visitors will present a HTTP_REFERRER variable that references one of our servers. Among other things, our quality control program checks for visitors who do not properly enter our system (e.g. through a domain). As you have seen, such visitors are discarded. This helps assure that the traffic we send to your site is legitimate and properly targeted.
-
Our stats show that you sent 8756 visitors to my site. My stats show that I received only 6819 visitors.
Answer: Our system is constructed such that we cannot possibly count a visitor who was not actually redirected to your URL. However, there are a variety of reasons why a visitor might be sent from our servers but not recorded by your counting system. This does not require that anything be "wrong" with your counting system. For example, visitors may indeed not be arriving, there may be some peculiarity with the counting system, the server may be rejecting visitors, etc.
In general, we can determine what might have happened given reference to your raw server logs. Please forward or otherwise provide access to your raw logs (access, error and referrer) and we will be happy to investigate the matter fully. Please note that the raw data available in logs is necessary to investigate. Summary statistical data is not generally useful, nor is data from 3rd party statistical systems.
We have absolutely no interest in counting visitors who were not redirected. Even if we were so inclined, there is no incentive to engage in such practices as the majority of customers independently verify our stats. Our customers recognize that our count is accurate and honest. As such, we receive very few inquiries regarding miscounts. In the overwhelming majority of these cases (indeed in all cases that I am personally aware of), we have been able to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of the customer when given reference to the necessary information. We have a keen interest in determining the cause of and solution to this apparent miscount and are looking forward to receiving the information necessary to investigate the matter.
